What to expect when you come to Oasis Vision Center

  • Call or text Oasis when you arrive.
  • Patients will wait in their car and be invited into the office via text message or phone call once a staff member is ready to assist them.
  • All pre-screening questions about COVID exposure, check in and case history will be done over the phone.
  • Once staff are ready for you to enter the office you will be asked to go directly to the front desk.
  • At the front desk you will receive a mask if needed and have your temperature checked with a no touch thermometer.
  • If there is a parent or caregiver, they will also be required to wear a mask and have their temperature checked.
  • After the temperature screening a tech or optician will assist you, depending on your appointment type.
  • Copies of receipts and prescriptions will be emailed to you instead of provided on paper.
  • Please return borrowed masks to the foot operated mask can on your way out the door.

Changes implemented due to covid-19

  • Limiting the number of patients in the office at all times.
  • Requiring all patients to have an appointment in order to come into the office (one caregiver may accompany the patient if required).
  • Longer time frame between patient appointments.
  • Oasis will close daily for lunch from 12:00-1:00.
  • Patients will need to call or text us at 480-892-6560 when arriving to the office for appointment prior to entering the office.
  • Check in will be done over the phone.
  • Everyone entering the office will be screened to ensure they or anyone in their family have not been sick or traveled outside the state in the last 14 days.
  • All patients and staff will be required to wear masks while in the office.
  • Hand sanitizer will be offered to patients upon entering the office.
  • Temperature will be taken with an IR thermometer on all staff and patients entering the office.
  • All extraneous items have been removed to make sanitizing faster.
  • Strict sanitizing procedures are in place for all touch surfaces.
  • All frames are sanitized after try on or handling.
  • Patients encouraged to pay with non touch methods like ApplePay or GooglePay. Credit cards and checks are accepted, but cash no longer accepted as a method of payment.
  • Your prescription and receipt will be emailed to you.
  • Products can be picked up outside our front door.
  • Telehealth appointments are available for appropriate follow up visits.
